  1. Subject 10 had a T4 complete spinal cord injury, and the IAP measurements were extremely low with a markedly compromised total cough force generated for VC and involuntary reflex cough as indicated by the AUC values of 22 and 111, respectively. As such, this subject was excluded from all statistical comparisons of VC and involuntary reflex cough.
